Since 1999, The Dow Chemical Company has supported the more than 16, 000 people living with multiple sclerosis in Michigan with donations totaling more than $750,000. In 2007, Dow expanded its participation with the Michigan Chapter of the MS Society for its annual MS Bike Tour, from devoted corporate team to Presenting Sponsor.
In late 2007, the company announced that it would return as the presenting sponsor for what is now called Bike MS – Great Lakes Breakaway Ride 2008. The company also will be the site sponsor for Walk MS in Midland on April 26. Team Dow – which consisted of 130 Dow employees, family and friends – has vowed to be the top fundraising team in the state in 2008. Go Team Dow!
